Case Study: Customised Training

Assignment: One of the largest media houses in India realized that the advertising revenues earned by its brands were not commensurate with the numbers that it delivered in terms of audiences. Their main rival was doing better on the advertising revenue front and therefore in the stock market.

Aidias Action: Aidias undertook a continuous training and development program for the entire revenue marketing teams of all the brands in the stable of this large media conglomerate. Meticulous planning was done to impart continuous training over 200 working days across the length and breadth of the country.

Outcome: In the fiscal which followed this training intervention began, the Indian advertising industry grew by only 6% over previous fiscal. This media house’s advertising revenue grew by 11%. Moreover, for the first time in the history of the media house; the market capitalization of this media house was more than the arch rival.
